I’m an innovative theatre practitioner with experience as a director, actor and playwright. I’m also a consultant for different organisations in the creative industries; from small arts organisations to International initiatives. This work involves programme development, audience/engagement initiatives to marketing and profile development.

I graduated from Lancaster University in 2004 (Theatre Studies BA Hons) and have worked across a range of different arts and cultural organisations from charitable bodies, commercial venues and local authorities. Roles have included Director of Peterborough Festival, founding Artistic Director of March Town Hall Theatre and Arts Courses and marketing and business development consultancy work. I was also privileged to be chosen to represent the UK by the British Council in 2009, on a Young Leaders of the Creative Industries visit to China where we spent time in Shanghai and X’tian.

As a theatre practitioner I have produced and directed a number of professional productions and continue my work as an actor.

Employment history
I’ve undertaken roles as Artistic Director of venues, festivals and touring theatre companies, including Artistic Director of March Town Hall Theatre (2005-06), Director of The Peterborough Festival (2006-08) and Programme Manager of The Garage (2008-09).

I’ve also produced and co-produced a number of productions and full seasons with theatres and music programmes.

I’m a founding director of Fenland Theatre Arts Courses and March Town Hall Theatre. As well as professional directing and writing, I also teach for a number of youth theatre programmes and The Young Actors Company.

I’m currently the Eastern Region’s Inspire Programmer for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
